Weekend excursions

Ok, so I'm actually supposed to be getting some work finished right now, but I really can't be bothered... perhaps it has something to do with the fact that I just finished watching the boys of Top Gear take three £150,000 (or more) cars on a quest for the most amazing piece of driving road in the world, and now I just want to get in my own over-priced, stripped-down, lime-green Porshe and go racing through the Alps... how much do you have to be worth, do you think, before they'll be willing to lend you one of those cars? anyway...

I figured I'd post some photos from the past two weekends... on the 29th of September we went on a walk on Hadrian's Wall, and then last weekend we went to check out the Souter Point Lighthouse and its surrounding beach, cliffs, etc...

First Hadrian's wall.... (hmm.. this would be so much easier if our stupid BT box actually gave us reliable wireless access!)

k, forget it. Blogger, or BT, and perhaps my very own computer are all conspiring against me and making it so that I can't post any photos... so consider this a notice that tomorrow when I'm at school with normal internet service, I will post photos! geeze, this is ridiculous!
Nadine and Julia on the bus, looking very energetic for 9am on a Sunday morning
