Take me out to the ball game...

Mike's mom Cindy and her boyfriend (also called Mike, just to keep things interesting) came to visit us last week, giving us another chance to stop being lazy and get out to see the sights of New York. It was a great week, albeit a little hectic - its always hard trying to play tourist while still having to go to work every day! :) Here's a look at some of the highlights:

Times Square on Wednesday night...
It was (my) Mike's birthday, so Cindy and (her) Mike took us to see Wicked at the Gershwin Theatre - it was a great performance, I highly recommend it! :)

On Friday we got up close and personal with the Statue of Liberty...
...took a walk past the Manhattan bridge on our way to the East Village for dinner...
and finished the night with a few drinks at a piano/comedy bar in Hell's Kitchen.
Here's a shot of the street fair we found on Lexington Avenue (I think its following us - last weekend we found it in the Upper West Side!).

No weekend is complete without a visit to the mobile foot.
(I have no idea why this guy has a foot in his truck. But its been in there for weeks!)

On Sunday we finished the week with a quick visit to St. John the Divine Cathedral Church on the way to brunch...
...and then took in a Yankees game in the afternoon. And we won, too! Go Yankees! :)

That must be the most New York weekend ever! Looks like you packed a lot of good stuff in!
