Lots of apologies for not blogging more often than I do, but I must admit, not having internet access at home is a major detriment to frequent blogging.
Life continues here in much the same way - days spent studying, evenings spent watching movies or tv or going to the pub for a pint. Our student loans, though guaranteed, have yet to actually appear in our bank accounts, so all of us are just a little broke at the moment. But don't worry, plans are afoot to hit the shops on the high street the second that money appears - well, first we have to transfer the money to our british accounts, which takes about a week, but after that, we'll be shopping! :)
Mom and Dad are coming to England on Thursday, arriving in Newcastle on Friday afternoon. Which means extra studying is in order this week in order to be homework free all weekend! I wonder which knitting project will fit best in the back seat of a british rental car?...

Hi there, I left a comment on your blog yesterday but it seems to have disappeared!
I'm a knitter in Newcastle and I go to three stitch and bitch groups (that aren't at all bitchy!) and we would love to have you as a new member. One of the groups is based at the University where I also work.
If you'd like to know more, please email me rovingriceyATyahooDOTcoDOTuk or leave a message on my blog and I'll get back to you with more details.
Best wishes
