So last night Mike and I went out to dinner as a last night out before I head back to England (the next few nights are already booked up with other friends).
This is the "going away present" that he gave me...
The three centre stones are from a family ring once owned by Mike's great aunt, but he had them reset in this white gold and diamond band just for me. :) I love it! (eta: this was actually his great great aunt's ring)
No date yet though - I think we're going to wait until I'm done (or almost done) school... I can't imagine the chaos that would ensue if I tried to plan a wedding and finish a PhD at the same time... I may end up seating my parents with Hippocrates and Aristotle!
