We've been in Vancouver for about 2 weeks now, and we are STILL waiting for our furniture to arrive. This living out of a suitcase thing is starting to get a little old!
On the plus side, an empty apartment is an easily painted apartment! And believe me, we are taking full advantage of that fact - the bedroom, office, living room, kitchen, den, and hallway are all getting a fresh coat of paint. Here's the before of the kitchen (it opens out into the living room):
